Hi Beautiful Dancers! My name is Mia. I was a ballerina with the Westchester Ballet Company in New York for 16 years. From age 2 to 18, I ate, slept, and breathed ballet. I performed in The Nutcracker for 10 years—starting as a mouse at age 7 and later performing Dew Drop, Spanish, and Flute Soloist as I grew into a senior company member. Certain that I never wanted to give up my passion for dance, I continued dancing on the University of Miami Hurricanettes Dance Team for three years in college. Now, I am a pre-medical student on the path to becoming a physician. The leotards that carried me through all those years of ballet now sit in my closet, waiting to be worn by other passionate dancers. It would bring me so much joy to share them and connect with dancers across the country. From simple black cami leotards to custom velvet Yumikos, Mimi’s Ballet Closet is open! P.S. all items come from a smoke-free household and freshly washed with lavender beads :)
